Good fast Chinese takeout, run by good people. One time I got an order that included hot and sour soup. When I turned away from the counter the bag with the soup fell (my fault), the container broke, leaving them with a mess and me with half a container of soup. The woman behind the counter said, "don't worry about it" and had the kitchen make me a fresh new soup.

Got take-out from China King on Thursday night. A simple shop, but a great option for affordable Americanized Chinese cuisine.
Quality: I was very happy with my order at China King. The General Tso's Dinner Special hit the spot. Good quality chicken, delicious sauce with just a hint of heat, and wonderful fried rice. The Fried Cheese Wontons were solid as well. Good proportions and nice and very crispy.
Quantity: Large portions, entrees are easily enough for two.
Value: $8.50 for General Tso's Dinner Special. $5.50 for Fried Cheese Wontons.
Ambiance: China King is located in the Forest Hills area of Queens. The shop is really setup for to-go orders, but they do have three tables inside. Very simple shop with just the sounds of the kitchen in the background.
Crowd: A take-out and delivery spot, but seemed busy.
Service: Friendly and fast. Had my food order ready in about 12 minutes.
Parking: Street parking is available, but may require a short walk. -

I used to really like this place because the food was good and the workers were really friendly but I am so disgusted right now. My boyfriend just found a ROACH in his food. I will never eat from this place again! Absolutely disgusting!! I love good food and good people but when you serve dirty food to your customers, that's a no-no.

Lately I have been on a takeout Chinese kick and was excited to try this place out as they were new on Grubhub/Seamless. They offer a coupon for a free soup with a $15+ purchase so we were pretty much sold on that offer. We stuck with our go-to order of a large General Tso's chicken and also tried the Fried Wontons with Garlic dipping sauce.
I must say, I cannot wait to order from this place again and try out the other offerings because this General Tso's chicken was great! The chicken was pretty crispy (the best way to eat it) and had a decent kick of heat (could use a little more but still great). Who would've thought to pair the fried wontons with garlic sauce as they are a great combo! The egg drop soup was also pretty good as it was free.
Although we ordered a very limited sample size, if you make a General Tso's chicken that taste's great, the odds are in your favor. Great stuff! -

Do they know the difference between chow mein and lo mein? I ordered both on two separate occasions and both orders came out identical. Please do your research first owner!
